Education in informal
environments
Education in informal environments, where the child interacts with new technologies outside of school, may (or may not) be an opportunity to expand knowledge. The result will depend on the content they incorporate and the orientation that we – responsible adults – will have in relation to them.
In both formal (school) and informal (outside) education, information, knowledge and digital entertainment can come together and in fact are already available to children in a way never seen before.
So here we go: better than restricting is selecting what your child accesses and guiding its use in a balanced way.
